Peakwork launches new plug & play solution for OTAs
Peakwork now offers a comprehensive solution for travel agencies to swiftly develop and expand online sales. This new plug and play solution enables travel agents to quickly set up an online sales portal featuring hotel and package travel offers from leading tour operators and hotel providers from the Peakwork portfolio for the DACH market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This off-the-shelf solution enables OTAs to enter the online travel industry and rapidly earn commission income, negating the need for any major investment in technology.
The tourism industry is becoming increasingly digital; a professional online presence is a prerequisite for successful travel distribution. This is why travel technology provider Peakwork has developed a new OTA solution, in collaboration with the online agency freshcells. This all-in-one solution provides customers with a complete travel website, based on state-of-the-art technology, with a modern design and sophisticated user experience as well as the ability to fulfil all bookings. In addition, the solution covers the entire process of travel search, booking and payment. All IT development and support, along with the search for and coordination with travel contractors is completly managed by Peakwork.

The product portfolio of hotels and package tours comes from the partners of Peakwork’s Player Hub Network. It includes offers from interntional leading tour operators and service providers such as TUI, Thomas Cook, DER Touristik, FTI, leading hotel providers and numerous other partners.
The frontend, despite standardized elements, offers several possibilities for personalization to develop a bespoke look and feel for each online travel agency. Travelers also benefit from detailed search options, and search results appear within milliseconds. Further features, such as upsell possibilities from hotel search to package offers and a shopping list function, expand the online service. Fulfillment is handled confidently by leading call centre partner, GfR, offering a superior service to all travelers. GfR maintains the contracts with the tour operators and carries out billing with the portal operators. In addition, there is an interface to the midoffice system from Midoco for processing the booking. All work and process flows of the booking can be processed here.
To simplify the use of all these services, a single contract with Peakwork is sufficient.
At ITB 2019, from 6 to 9 March 2019 in Berlin, the new solution will be presented on both the Peakwork stand (Hall 5.1./Stand 117) and the freshcells stand (Hall 5.1./Stand 136).
