Senior Sales Manager - The Americas (m/f)

WHAT YOU DO
In your new position you will be responsible for the expansion and development of the assigned region. Including effective lead generation, researching and qualifying prospects, building and converting a pipeline of new business.
- Acquire, support and develop strategic partnerships with clients
- Identify new customers and drive new businesses of the Player-Hub technology in the Americas
- Create presentations and deliver sales pitches
- Define revenue generating distribution opportunities of technology and data format throughout the value chain such as Metasearch, OTA, Travel Agencies etc.
- Understand customers’ specific technical needs and develop a thorough technical specifications plan
- Manage deal structures and terms negotiations with clients
- Define project processes and coordinate them with different internal departments such as IT, Marketing and Management
- Profitability analysis, ad hoc reporting, assessment of opportunities and risks, initiation and implementation of measures to optimize business structures and partnerships
- Work in a dynamic team and environment with direct contact with Management
- Deliver results within a strongly growing business division
WHAT YOU BRING

Your interest in technology and your ability to think conceptually provide the ideal background for success at peakwork. By working independently, you are also ready to assume responsibility. Your purposeful and success-oriented working methods are proven by first experiences in a sales position. Furthermore, you should bring the following requirements to complement our team:
- 7-10 years’ of successful sales in travel or software technology experience with an outstanding track record of driving sales performance, including developing sales plans, forecasting and reporting
- Strong industry knowledge and significant interest in online and offline travel business models
- A positive and optimistic personality with the desire to succeed along with an entrepreneurial spirit
- A high commercial acumen with a proven experience of solution selling, excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to maintain satisfied relationships with key stakeholders
- Self-motivated, goal orientated individual with a willingness to work independently and productively within a sizeable geographic territory
- Ability to work on multiple projects within tight time frames
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and preferably a second language
- An adaptable, clear and analytical thinker with the ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as necessary
