Travel agencies can now transfer travel offers from the Peakwork SET consulting system to Schmetterling's NEO reservation system to ensure seamless booking. This opens up another booking channel for SET users and the approximately 3,500 travel agencies that work with Schmetterling Technology's CRS. With an additional licensing of Peakwork SET, these agencies can benefit from the extensive tour operator portfolio and significantly increase their sales.
The transfer of product data from the Peakwork search system to NEO was realized within a few weeks and has now gone live with the current update of SET. And this is how it works: Travel agencies working with Peakwork SET can comfortably search for package tours, hotel and flight offers of tour operators in the DACH (GER, AT, CH) market with numerous search functionalities.
The offer is then transferred to the NEO reservation system, which is also web-based, for booking with a simple click. SET users greatly benefit from this seamless transfer. NEO's portfolio of offers is furthermore expanded by the broad stock of Peakwork data in the area of classic package tours and dynamic offers. NEO users require additional licensing of SET.
Ömer Karaca, Managing Director of Schmetterling International, confirmed: "With NEO we have developed a reservation system that clearly scores with innovative features, numerous practical functions as well as a seamless data transfer into our own and other popular systems from the tourism industry. Peakwork SET cannot be missing in this process, and we are pleased that together we were able to realize the new connection within a very short time."
Britta Evensen, Manager Travel Agency Solutions, says: "With SET, Peakwork is focusing completely on the needs of travel agents, and we are pleased to be able to offer another booking channel. There has been tremendous demand from travel agencies for a way to transfer their booking into NEO."
Benefits of Peakwork SET: Peakwork's software uses a new consulting approach. Selected hotel sets can be saved, taking into account the preferences of specific target customer groups. This way, travel agents start each consultation well-prepared. Sharing hotel sets among travel agency colleagues makes the program particularly attractive for employees new to the travel industry. The ability to search according to DRV GlobalTypes and undertake multi-room searches with individual room and board options, the direct display of the total price and browser-based access to the software are further advantages of Peakwork SET.
