At ITB Berlin 2026, Peakwork presents the next major development step of its all-in-one Travel Operating Platform, nexTOs. Originally introduced at ITB 2025 as a strategic extension of the Peakwork platform, nexTOs has since evolved into a powerful, modular end-to-end solution for tour operators, OTAs, and travel service providers.

Today, nexTOs covers the entire operational value chain in leisure travel – from sourcing individual travel services, management, packaging, and pricing to distribution, fulfillment, and automated customer communication. With this, Peakwork positions itself as a central technology platform for the next generation of tour operating.

Continuous Expansion Across All Core Areas of Travel Management

Since its market launch, nexTOs has been continuously enhanced and functionally deepened. Key innovations include substantial progress across nearly all operational areas of the travel business:

  • Transfer Management: Tour operators can now connect and prioritize multiple transfer providers in parallel. If a preferred provider is unavailable, the system automatically switches to alternative partners. Manually maintained services – such as transfers or fees without API connectivity – can also be seamlessly integrated.
  • Fee Management: Operators can flexibly calculate, manage, and automatically integrate their own fee structures into pricing logic.
  • Payment Management: Extended payment options, including credit card, direct debit, and PayPal, provide greater flexibility throughout the payment process. Installment and deposit payment plans can also be managed within the system.
  • Automated Discount Handling: Discount codes can be centrally managed and automatically applied.
  • Document & Communication Management: Documents and customer communication are increasingly automated through flexible email templates and event-based workflows.
  • Flight Time Updates: Airline schedule changes are automatically detected and processed within the system, significantly reducing operational workload.
  • CRS & Distribution System Integrations: In addition to the interface to Sabre Vacations implemented since launch, tour operators can seamlessly distribute their products to travel agencies via CRS and distribution systems such as Amadeus TOMA and Travelport CETS.
  • White-Label Booking Frontend: A fully integrated white-label frontend provides end customers with a highly flexible and user-friendly booking experience.
  • Travel Agent Tool: A powerful travel agent tool enables tour operators to facilitate bookings for travel agencies and call center agents within direct sales environments.
  • CRM Integration: nexTOs will soon offer a native interface for CRM connectivity. In cooperation with Inspiretec (Juniper Group), an established, travel-specialized CRM solution will be directly integrated into nexTOs Studio, enabling seamless use of customer data and booking histories.
  • Finance Integration: nexTOs will also enable integration with the company’s financial accounting systems. Booking and settlement data can be seamlessly transferred into existing finance systems, ensuring audit-compliant financial processes.
  • Cruise Outlook: At ITB, Peakwork will provide insights into upcoming cruise functionality, which will be gradually integrated into the nexTOs environment throughout 2026.

One Platform – Maximum Flexibility

Thanks to its modular architecture, travel providers can either use nexTOs as a full end-to-end solution or selectively integrate individual modules into existing system landscapes. Peakwork therefore addresses established tour operators, new market entrants, OTAs, and travel service providers alike.

The platform supports various business models, for example:

  • nexTOs is designed as a comprehensive tour operating system, enabling tour operators to map their business end-to-end – from sourcing, aggregation, and inventory management to packaging, pricing logic, booking, fulfillment, and distribution within one platform.
  • Airlines can use nexTOs to market excess capacity as packaged holidays via an Airline Holiday Solution or alternatively act as an OTA, distributing third-party packages bundled with their own flight services on their website.
  • High-Performance Distribution: Solutions such as Aero Cache Pro and Hotel Cache Pro ensure highly performant, scalable distribution of large content volumes while significantly reducing distribution costs.
  • OTAs gain access to leading tour operator content while, depending on strategy, also being able to act as tour operators themselves and offer dynamic packages.

Manuel Saballus, CEO of Peakwork, explains: “With nexTOs, we are developing our platform step by step into a fully integrated Travel Operating Solution. The system has become significantly more comprehensive, powerful, and flexible across all areas. Today, our partners can map their entire travel business on a single high-performance platform.”

Peakwork also sees strong market validation in its operational performance: “The booking figures achieved recently – including the highest booking volumes in the company’s history in January – confirm that with nexTOs, we are technologically and strategically on the right track,” Saballus adds.
