Peakwork with new White Label IBE solution
Peakwork expands its leisure travel platform with a white label Internet Booking Engine (IBE) as a convenient standard solution for the online distribution of Peakwork customers' travel offers. This can be viewed as a showcase at the ITB in Berlin from 8th - 11th March 2017 at the Peakwork booth.
Peakwork is now adding a new component to the solutions for classic travel sales and dynamic packaging: Peakwork has designed a White Label IBE for the distribution of hotel and package travel offers, which can be quickly configured by the travel provider and implemented with minimal effort on their own website. The color design and display formats can be customized and additional features such as customer reviews from various providers and travel insurance options are available.
Due to the very detailed recording of the individual offer parameters capable with Peakwork’s EDF data format, travel providers can select many useful search options for their front-end, which has a positive effect on conversion rates. A variety of supplementary destination information, images, and video content is also available. In addition, the new White Label IBE offers the option to design individual landing pages depending on where inbound traffic is coming from - for example, if metasearch directs a user to the provider’s website. The responsive booking path ensures optimal display on all device types. The complete technology is designed with a global outlook with multilingual capabilities, thus offering openings to new international sales channels.
Peakwork technology has so far focused primarily on travel production and distribution, whilst travel companies are independently designing an individual front-end. Ralf Usbeck, CEO of Peakwork, explained: "With the new IBE solution, Peakwork offers a front-end variant that accesses the offers of the individual travel supplier. This is interesting for tour operators, hotel providers and airlines, who want to create their own portal with package tours. In summary, this solution has a lot of potential."
The application is developed by Peakwork’s subsidiary silversurfer7 in Cologne, who have been developing websites for market-leading tourism companies for many years. Oliver Nökel, Managing Director of silversurfer7, explains: "The solution is built like a modular kit designed to meet the different needs of the different markets and to achieve an optimal conversion through A/B split testing."
The showcase can be viewed for the first time at the Peakwork stand at the ITB.
