#HackTravel hackathon is a unique opportunity for the most forward thinking travel industry players and developers to come together and collaboratively tackle real world industry pain points.
Peakwork colleagues in hackathon winning teams
Two colleagues from the Peakwork engineering team joined to build open source, decentralized solutions along with their peers from airlines, hotels, travel startups and other blockchain experts. About 60 bright sparks from companies such as Accenture, Etihad, HolidayPirates, IATA, IBM and more attended the 3-day hackathon event.
We are very proud of our two colleagues who were part of the winning teams at this year’s #HackTravel 2019. Not only did the jury award the two teams for the best hack outcomes but also the community voting - teams members themselves voted for the best team .
Among this year’s hackathon challenges were topics such as:
- Blockchain based Metasearch
- ORG.ID explorer
- Package booking
- Tours & activities
- WT Proof of trust
What a great opportunity to be part of this event! We are very much looking forward to getting to know the latest hack insights…
