Senior Sales Manager – The Americas (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU DO
- Acquire, support and develop strategic partnerships with new clients
- Identify new customers and drive new businesses of the Player Hub technology in the Americas (Hunter)
- Define revenue generating distribution opportunities of technology and data format throughout the value chain such as Metasearch, OTA, Travel Agencies, etc.
- Create presentations and deliver sales pitches at all customer levels
- Understand customers’ specific technical needs and develop a thorough technical specifications plan
- Manage deal structures and terms negotiations with clients
- Timely integration and strong alignment with project and account management resources to deliver project plans within tight timelines by leveraging internal resources
- Orchestrate internal resources (IT, Marketing and Management) to meet customer expectations
- Accurate weekly forecasting and pipeline management
- Profitability analysis, ad hoc reporting, assessment of opportunities and risks, initiation and implementation of measures to optimize business structures and partnerships
- Market research and analysis of assigned markets and regions
- Work in a dynamic team and environment with direct contact with management
- Deliver results within a strongly growing business division
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5-7 years of successful sales experience in travel, software technology, cloud and/or highly-complex solutions as an individual contributor with hunter mentality
- Very good track record of driving sales performance, including developing sales plans, forecasting and reporting
- Strong industry knowledge and significant interest in online and offline travel business models
- IT affinity with a pronounced analytical understanding of processes and interrelationships
- Very strong target group-specific communication and presentation skills at all hierarchical levels
- A positive and optimistic personality with the desire to succeed along with an entrepreneurial spirit based on hands-on mentality
- An adaptable, clear and analytical thinker with the ability to work under pressure and on multiple projects within tight time frames
- A high business acumen with a proven experience of solution selling, excellent problem solving and extended negotiation skills
- Great ability to work efficiently in a team and across teams
- Very good networking skills both internally and externally and the ability to maintain satisfied relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably a second language
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office
- Permanent work authorization for the USA
- Willingness to travel
