WHAT YOU DO
In your new position, you will be part of our engineering team and responsible for the design and further development of the infrastructure, which meets the highest requirements in terms of performance and reliability. You will work with the latest technologies and be confident to bring in your own ideas. Your main tasks will include:
- Ensuring the operation and further development of complex Linux hybrid environments in our own data centers and various public cloud providers
- Installation, configuration and operation of highly available web and application servers
- Design and operate Kubernetes clusters based on the Google Kubernetes Engine
- Further development of automated server and patch management processes via GitLab, Ansible and Terraform
- Working according to the latest security standards in a PCI-DSS certified environment
- Participation in the implementation of IT projects
- Introduction of innovative software products in a growing virtual infrastructure
WHAT YOU BRING
Quick understanding, strong engagement, and a curiosity for new and complex issues are key requirements for a successful role in our admin team. Good communication skills, structured and analytical thinking complete your profile. Furthermore, you ideally complement our team with the following requirements:
- Completed studies in the field of informatics or comparable education
- At least 5 years of in-depth Linux experience
- Very good knowledge in the operation of web and application servers
- Knowledge of container orchestrations, such as Kubernetes and Rancher
- Experience in the operation and architecture of cloud technologies
- Confident in the use of automation and centralization tools
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
