WHAT YOU DO
In your new position, you will be part of our innovative admin team and will be responsible for implementing and ensuring the operation of our tourism software products, which meet the highest requirements in terms of performance and reliability. You will work closely with our in-house developers, project managers and customers. You will always have an eye on the latest technologies and be confident to contribute your own ideas. Your main tasks will include:
- Supporting well-known customers in the launch of our applications
- Developing customer-specific requirements and conducting technical workshops
- Technical support for international customers regarding optimization potential within tourism systems
- Ensuring the operation of complex tourism software environments
- Installation and configuration of in-house software products
WHAT YOU BRING
With your quick understanding, a strong commitment, curiosity and an ability to learn new, complex issues, you bring very good basic requirements for a successful role in our admin team. Your excellent communication skills combined with structured and analytical thinking complete your profile. Furthermore, you ideally complement our team with the following requirements:
- Completed studies in informatics or comparable education
- At least 5 years of IT experience
- Very good knowledge in operating web & application servers
- Deep experience in Linux systems (RHEL)
- Experience in Linux-based scripting languages (Bash, Python)
- Initial experience working with container technologies (Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes)
- Confident dealing with international customers
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
The following knowledge is also advantageous:
- LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 or comparable certifications
- Know-how in network topologies
- Knowledge of the tourism industry
- Experience in using Jira and Confluence
